We are Juan Carlos Cabrera and Karen Maldonado, a family shaped by journeys, Andean roads, local stories, and a deep connection to Ecuador’s nature and ancestral traditions.

Our experience
Juan Carlos Cabrera is an audiovisual producer with over 16 years of experience in tourism and expeditions, having worked with international companies such as Silversea Cruises and Galápagos Best. His narrative approach and deep understanding of travel are present in every route designed by Pachamama Roads.
Karen Maldonado, with more than 10 years of experience in tourism, brings the operational and human dimension of travel, adding a sensitive and intuitive connection to nature and Ecuador’s ancestral traditions.
